On September 21, the Forum of Construction of Jiangsu Lifelong Education Credit Bank and the 3rd Conference of Credit Bank Cooperation Alliance Council was held in Nanjing. The forum was organized by JSOU and Management Center of Jiangsu Lifelong Education Credit Bank, and was co-organized by Jiangsu Social Education and Service Instruction Center. Present at the forum were about 200 leaders and experts from education administration departments, businesses and enterprises, members from Open Education Credit Banks in Yangtze River Delta Area, and heads of Jiangsu Lifelong Education Credit Bank Cooperation Alliance. The forum was presided by Wu Zhongning, vice president of JSOU.
President of JSOU Cui Xinyou made a speech at the conference. he delivered hearted welcome and appreciation for the attendees and the newly enrolled members of Credit Bank Cooperation Alliance. He pointed that education is the foundation of a nation’s technology, industry, society and social development. JSOU is a new entity of university, as well as a platform providing support and service for building a learning society and sustaining lifelong education. JSOU takes constructing the Credit Bank and building a learning society as its mission, and hope to make more contribution for pushing the development of lifelong education and improving people’s quality by working on the study of the connotation construction of Credit Bank.
Tao Wenjie, deputy director of Lifelong Education Department of Shanghai Education Commission, and Jing Guibao, researcher of Continuing Education Department of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education made important speeches.
At the conference, seven new members were accepted and signed the alliance constitution. The seven new members come from universities, enterprises, industries and training institutes. With their participation, the Credit Bank will have more influence and credibility.
Experts from National Open University, Ministry of Education, Construction Bank of China and Shanghai Lifelong Education Credit Bank made lectures at the conference.
